Private healthcare from an NHS Trust

How It Works

Initial Enquiry

Depending on the type of service or treatment you require, you may need to start with a referral from a GP or other healthcare professional. If you are unsure then contact our Private Patient Team by phone or email to discuss your needs. We’ll help guide you through available services and provide an estimated cost.

Consultation

You’ll meet with one of our highly trained medical consultants, who will discuss your condition, recommend investigations, tests or additional scans if needed, and outline treatment options. Consultation fees are paid at the time of booking. This is usually a one-off cost of around £200, although charges may vary by consultant.

Quote & Treatment Plan

After your consultation, we’ll provide a clear, written quotation for your treatment package. This will include a break-down of all expected costs, from medication to materials or an overnight stay.

Payment

    • Payment is required before admission to hospital.

    • We accept major debit/credit cards, bank transfers, and cheques. For some cases payment plans may be available.

    • A deposit will be required to confirm your booking.

    • If using medical insurance, it is your responsibility to ensure that your treatment is covered with your insurance provider.

Your Care

Your treatment will be carried out at one of our NHS hospitals by our highly trained specialists, with access to the same high standards of safety and quality of care you’d expect from the NHS.

Aftercare

Follow-up appointments and aftercare can be included in your treatment package, unless otherwise stated.
