Biography
I live to help people with hand and wrist problems. I have an orthopaedic training background, but am also dual qualified as an Orthoplastics hand surgeon, winning the Gold Medal in the UK national Orthoplastics hand diploma. I treat most trauma and acquired problems of the hand, wrist and forearm as well as upper limb nerve problems.
It is only when you develop a problem with your hand that you realise how important they are for every function of daily living, work, sport and hobbies. We can’t live without them! I pride myself in spending time with my patients to make a full assessment of their problems and discussing all possible options for treatment.
I offer the full range of surgical techniques including arthroscopy (key-hole surgery), percutaneous treatments (tiny wounds), microsurgery, joint replacements and fusions, complex fracture fixations, vascularised bone grafts and a myriad of techniques for reconstructing soft tissues such as tendons, nerves, fascia and skin. Whatever your hand or wrist problem, we can find the best surgical or non-surgical treatment for it together.
